In scripture study we took a look at the three devotional workout verses for week 3. Read through them again, and look to further your understanding of the context and possible application in your daily life. In short, finish the race, be careful of anything or anyone cutting in on your race and getting you off course, and keep looking forward, forgetting what is behind and run the race ahead.
Finally, in Running 101 we focused on gear. There were examples of various running related items that you might need, want or keep in mind as your running moves beyond RFG . If you have any questions, just let me know. I have included a slide depicting the titles and a brief description of a few suggestions for books about running. We concluded 101 with an overview of the ROCC 5K to be held on May 11th. The links are provided below for registration and more details.
Everyone is doing such a great job. This week is really important for building base and allowing us to move up to more running time in week #4. Trust the plan and run YOUR race!
