But why? As most of you know by now I always have a specific reason for most of what I do when it comes to prepping for a marathon. Well, I'm glad you asked. Let me explain my list with, well, a list:
1. Why not! Are you kidding me, 58 classic Springsteen tunes without interruption. Living the life man.
2. I will be running Myrtle Beach with my good buddy Ken from Florence, SC. And if any guy was ever 'Born to Run' it's Ken. And of course, if anyone truly deserved to be nicknamed "The Boss" it's Ken's wife Lindsay :)
3. With the unfortunate timing of my recent back pain, and resulting missed workouts, this will not be a PR chasing race. In fact, the goal is to finish in an upright position. I figure if ever there was a time to go non-stop Bruce, it would be when I expected to need the most songs.
So there you have it. Now go ahead and download a few off the list and join along two weeks from today. Oh, and despite popular belief, the marathon route does NOT include a turn down E Street.
