"If you’ve raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in thickets by the Jordan?" (Jeremiah 12:5). Our journey is intended to be more than simply "stumbling" through the days while the world "wears us out.” We are made to experience the thrill of "running with horses” and to navigate life amongst the "thickets." The RWH blog focuses on both the spiritual race of which Jeremiah speaks, and the physical act of running that I absolutely love. In short, it's where "the miles meet the Message" to provide insight, perspective & encouragement that might enable you & I to successfully run either of the races set before us. May our course be purposeful and may we be passionate in our pursuit of the abundant life He desires for us.

ROCC RFG : All Your H - S - M - S!

It's really hard to believe that we are down to our final RFG Monday evening.  Watching all of our runners stride up and down Lewisville - Clemmons road last night really highlighted what great effort you all have put into our time together.  Most of you have stayed true to the plan and are enjoying the fruits of your workout labor. I sincerely hope you are seeing improved health benefits and am especially hopeful that our time together in study has been beneficial to both your physical and spiritual journeys.

Next week we will wrap up this session with some sharing time and one final group run.  Pastor Beaty is planning on dropping by to congratulate you on your endurance and we will enjoy the fellowship one last evening.  Then it will be "GO TIME!"  Saturday, May 12th, the ROCC The Potter's House 5k.  I cannot wait.

Below are the slides from last night, including further detail on the race course.  Let me know if you have any questions regarding the study, your shirt orders, the race or some of my excellent '80s music collection!  Have a great week of workouts and may we all "Love God - Love Others - period."
